Editorial policy
This is the policy that governs everything published on PSYRJ.
Human curation
Nothing goes live automatically. Every event, profile, track and article is reviewed by a member of the team before publication. Public suggestions follow exactly the same path.
Provenance and verification
Every public record stores its source, who entered it and the date of the last check. Events in the next fourteen days are re-verified at least weekly. The verification date is shown on the page so you can judge for yourself.
A public source is not a licence: we only use images, text and audio with documented usage rights.
Event status
Confirmed, postponed, cancelled and ended are distinct, visible states. Postponements and cancellations are updated the same day the team learns about them. Pages for past events stay online.
Who gets a profile
Artists with a real, continuing bond to the state's scene get a full profile, whether or not they were born in Rio. Visiting artists who play here get a basic entry so line-ups are complete. Only local artists have hosted music and play on the radio.
There is no "claim this profile". Artists and producers talk to the team directly and may be registered as representatives, but publication remains editorial.
Commercial integrity
There is no pay-to-play, no selling of placement, no paid features, no paid ranking and no programmatic advertising. Commercial partnerships are always disclosed where they appear and never change the chronological order of the agenda, the radio rotation or an editorial decision. Rádio PSYRJ carries no advertising.
Affiliate links, where they exist, are flagged on the page itself.
Corrections
Mistakes are corrected and recorded. When a change matters to people who already saw the page, we publish a notice on it.
